sitara indian restaurant

This afternoon I had lunch with my friend from university time. The food was not bad, but the price's too expensive.

We had chicken curry and cheese prata. I ordered mango lassi while my friend ordered milk tea.

There were a lot of statues in the restaurant. There were a lot of Indian accessories as well as paintings of people in Indian traditional clothes. In a corner I even saw a kind of Ganesha altar, complete with Ganesha statue, garland and incense!

must learn chinese diligently

This is the story of me learning Chinese: My grandfather is Chinese, but I couldn't speak Chinese. Every time I met Chinese people, they tried to converse with me in Chinese. They did not believe I was unable speak Chinese. I found it troublesome, so I decided to learn Chinese.

second child birth result in fines

My Chinese friend told me that around the year 1990, birth of a second child causes his family a fine of almost 2,000 yuan. For comparison, in 1990, a meal can be purchased at 2 yuan. Today, a meal is worth 10 yuan.

www.文.blogspot.com

www.xn--7dv.blogspot.com

hanzi urls -- part two

Chinese people write both their pinyin names and hanzi names at passports. Example here.

They can also write hanzi URLs. Copy and paste the following link zai nide browser:

www.文.blogspot.com

At some browsers, the link transform into:

www.xn--7dv.blogspot.com

This transformation is called punycode encoding, where a string of Unicode characters is transformed uniquely and reversibly into a smaller, restricted character set.

clingy

I promised to write a topic that was difficult for me. To compensate for it, I read some websites about clinginess. They opened my eyes on this subject. Most of them told me, a clingy person is very annoying. They also told me, "Clinginess is women's greatest weakness."

There was this one man saying, her girlfriend's social circle was too small, so she always chatted with him, but his social circle is large, almost everyday people look for him to talk on the phone with.

Clingy person is so bothersome, I don't want to become one. Is the cure for clinginess is enlarging our social circle? If that's what it takes, I will do it.

On another perspective, when I did additional research, this time by asking chinese-speaking people around, most of them said not all men find clingy person bothersome. I don't know if it's correct, because people like to brush up the truth when they're not anonymous...
