几周前我和我的大学同学看了一部名叫《皇家特工：間諜密令》的电影。这是一部好看的电影。然而，看完后我很好奇：为什么我在日常生活中还没看到使用类似葛希兒在电影中的假肢或茨崎笑美在游戏《片轮少女》中的假肢的人？

A few weeks ago I watched Kingsman: The Secret Service with my friend from university days. The movie is nice, however, after watching, a question linger in my head for days. How come in real life I've never seen someone wearing prosthetics like the ones Gazelle wore in the movie, or Emi did in the game Katawa Shoujo?

两年前左右，当我知道的中文词语真的真的很少。我去了一个沐足家，一个女孩给我按摩。她连续说中文虽然我不会用中文回答她。

我然后告诉我的朋友我在里面的单边聊天，她很吃惊。

「有什么问题呀？我只要她告诉我，她来自哪个省。」

她回答道：「那用《你是哪里人？》，别用《你是什么人？》！」

culture shock -- part three

This happened about two years ago, when my Chinese vocabulary consisted of about ten words only.

I went to a massage place, and the masseuse keep talking in Chinese language despite my lack of reply in the same language.

Afterwards I told my friend about the almost one-sided conversation I had inside. She showed a horrified expression.

"What's the matter? I only wanted to know what province she's from."

She said, "Then do not use 'What are you', use 'Where do you come from'!"
