Wǒ zhōngguó péngyǒu cízhíle. Tā xiànzài zài fùshìkāng gōngzuò, jǐnguǎn zài 2012 dāng wǒ dì yī cì lái zhōngguó, tā gàosùguò wǒ fùshìkāng de hěnduō yuángōng zìshāle.
Tā yě gǎile míngzì. Gǎi de shì tā de yīngwén míngzì, bùshì zhōngwén míng. Wǒ juédé yěxǔ zài cízhí de shíhòu, zhōngguó rén, tèbié shì shìchǎng yíngxiāo de rén, huì bèi yāoqiú bǎ tāmen de yīngwén míngzì liú xià, suǒyǐ jiētì tāmen de rén jiù néng yòng nàgè míngzì.

我中国朋友辞职了。她现在在富士康工作，尽管在2012当我第一次来中国，她告诉过我富士康的很多员工自杀了。
她也改了名字。改的是她的英文名字，不是中文名。我觉得也许在辞职的时候，中国人，特别是市场营销的人，会被要求把他们的英文名字留下，所以接替他们的人就能用那个名字。

A friend who, upon my first visit to China in 2012 had told me about the Foxconn suicides, quitted her job. Now she works at another place.
Guess where?
Foxconn.
She changed her name, too. Her English name, not the Chinese one. I think maybe upon resigning, Chinese people, especially in sales and marketing, are required to leave their English name behind to be used by people who will take their place.
